I almost exklusively play my ZD list with 6 vargs and 2 varghulf, 1TG. vargheist have champ and always try combo charge with lord, whom also keep their frenzy in check. works a treat in my meta. and i face 2*wlc
twin towers, tripple towers and casket/2*screaming skull lists.
1 time khalida and 40 archers, on a table with near nigh terrain, my one major loss with that list.
ive been thinking on switch lance and NS for a magic sword and some other things, but so often i meet skaven assasin, i need asl on them

Depends. I can see an Epidemius list marking them Nurgle and using them to hunt other fast chaff and get the tally up faster.

Really? Don't know why. But I don't really care either for the following reasons.

1) I almost NEVER win my first game at a tournament. Call it "slow out of the gate" syndrome.

2) I just want to have a fun opening game to put me in the right mood and I know you can provide that.

3) My list may change. erv: Might be sporting a large Nurgle Warrior unit with Fetus.

Cool! Might not have a Demon Prince though. Might be running a Sorceror Lord. We'll see. Army Builder now has WoC updated so I can play with some lists.

Your last opponent was Sean? He apologized? :slapface: That sounds terribly insincere. Everyone I know, and I mean everyone, that plays him tells him what a kill joy his army is. In spite of that he continues to play it. I've watched him play and he 'seems' congenial but when you play such an army in the face of constaint complaints then I am sorry, you are a tool. :swear:

I hate the avoidance 'pew-pew' types of armies. I'd rather have some WoC or Empire player with 1+ armor across the board slam into me and flatten me like a pancake than have to play a 'chase my tail' kind of game and just waste two hours of my life I will never get back.

He thinks he is clever but he does not seem to appreciate the amount of derision that people feel towards him. You don't even have to be a great tactician to pull that kind of army off.

Yeah near the emd i told him to skip his worthless magic phase and just shoot my one wound destroyer so I could call the game. Smaker and a certain Skaven player are two match ups i just dont enjoy playing.

He is the main reason I am not bringing CD to SAWS

Dwarves, kind of tk,beastmen and now daemons. Also I hate all Lizards armies.....

Beastmen have the Blackened Plate. I ain't scared of the K'Daai, or of the Chaos Dwarfs army for that matter. I think my goats match up fairly well against them.

Out west atleast blackened plate is not in TAC lists at all and it can only be in one unit

That's true, but my Gor unit has the Ironcurse Icon and 50 bodies. Plus I have the Chalice to stymie the shots on T1. So yeah... bring it. :tongue:

The Blackened Plate wasn't always in my all-comers list... until the Skabscrath Ghoul King came to town. Then people started to field Chaos Dwarfs. And then WoC Breath Weapon spam hit. And after that came the Khorne Cannons. Now I won't leave home without it. The meta has shifted, and I have shifted with it. Your buddies out west would be wise to do the same.
