Anyone out there like Nurgle?
I know I sure do, and have been playing them in 40K for 6 years.
They are just fantastic, but the new rules suck horribly and have ruined my themed army.

lemme get this straight... you don't like having feel no pain for all your troops? :| What exactly ruined the list for you?

It's not the "rules" so much i hate its more the differences.
I used to have Plaguebearers, nurglings and of course Papa Nurgle in my army but now i have "lesser deamon" and "greater deamon". The character has just been robbed. It's not the same. They don't have the specifics like the 7 lucky number and the restrictive list (it may have been restricted, but when you came up with a good one it was so satisfying). I dont "hate" the new list, its just not the same. plus i had to reorganize my list and add icons etc...... point is....ughhh.....

I agree that the list has lost some of it's character, but for me, the actual play mechanics of it have improved greatly. No longer is my khorne army just about a beefed up demon prince who can swallow 9 lascannon bolts without slowing, now I can take much larger armies, and a ton more deamons, they may not pack as much of a punch, but deamons are much more numerous now, which I think looks and feels better on the battlefield. The only thing I regret is not really having a use for my deamon prince model... oh and the lack of khornate chainaxes, that hurt too.

Well, I have to admit DG lost a bit of their twist in the last codex. Plague marines are way more powerful than in the past, though. I was (and still am) a devoted DG player, but with the new codex, playing a pure DG force doesnt give you anything. It is now more tempting to field a multi-god force and use assets of all cults in a single list. Now, I use a vast majority of Nurgle units, but also a unit of Thousand sons and sometimes beserkers as well, and even a slaanesh sorcerer.

Unless specific legion rules are released (any plans?), I will put the pure DG thing aside

I agree with the new codex chaos lost alot of character and the HQ's lost alot of power with the loss of the armoury and all the gifts and such, but they did powerup alot of the troops, thousand sons and shoot down almost anything and take some of the heaviest fire in the game and death guard can rip threw almost anything in combat. All in all though I prefer the old rules where the armies had alot more depth and your leader could rip threw every other HQin the game.

I dislike the codex with a passion. They took the fuff choices out, made a mess out of Daemon weapons and made an arse of generally my whole army. My oblit lost his AC(*tear), I lost the collar of Khorne(took it for the only reason khorne hates psy powers) lost rage for my berserkers(now they get shot to bits before I get to charge, and why shoot with them, all I did was use the guns as clubs any way), Lost my glaive(no mad raging prince anymore) and they gave feel no pain to nurgle!(what happened to being so insane you ignore a chainsword in the face as soon as the lad who did it had his head ripped visciously off?) Yes, I'm ranting, but they renegadeised the 'dex and in doing so KILLED the best damn thing going for 40k. Apart from Stormblades. I like Stormblades, they're all big and killy
