I bought the mounted wight king because I'd rather have him in metal. I feel like I can't do anything with him until I get the new plastic Black Knights and find out if he looks completely out of scale with them or not.

Whew, finally managed to paint a decent number! Painted my TK Skeletons (see my plog), I had 10 done at 95% but finished the remaing 32, so that brought the scores of painted/bught more even!

I've been thinking about this thread since I first saw it a few weeks ago, but since my local gaming store is having their quarterly swap meet this Sunday, (Great Escape Games in Sacramento, check it out if you haven't already, these things are awesome!) I anticipated having several moments of weakness so I'm taking the pledge. As of right now I have a brand-new box of Black Knights to paint, and I'm vowing to completely paint my Warhammer Quest set before I buy anything new. So the total is:

Bought: roughly 106, including 90 WHQ figures, 10 doorways, 5 black knights and an empire battle wizard. (Number to be updated with a full and accurate count in the near future.)

Painted: Zip, zero, zilch, nada, bupkiss!

Ugh. God of painters, give me the strength to resist!

Oh God, I think I will have to take this pledge as well, though we are roughly halfway through the year... My games-workshop revival started with the idea of painting LOTR figures and making some dioramas, but expanded with the discovery of my local GW store (opened up november 2011). I coerced a friend of mine to start painting and buying miniatures again, and he coerced me to pick up warhammer fantasy next to LoTR, so I started collecting VC models (great how that works).

As of now I have bought the mines of moria set, 12 moria orcs (with the starter paints), a box of uruk hai, two ringwraiths. For the Vampire Counts I bought a necromancer, a strigoi, 10 grave guard, 20 zombies, 10 skeletal warriors, 10 direwolves (converted chaos warhounds, and a high elf hero to convert to be my vampire count.

Bringing me to a total of *gasp* 99 mini's bought (not counting the scenery from the mines of moria set)...

I have started painted quite an amount of the vampire counts stuff, and just a couple of the lord of the rings models, I think it would be a total of about 30 painted, including some bestigors that I already owned. I think I have painted about 5 models that I already owned prior to 2012, so if I don't buy anything more this year (this is going to be hard) I will succeed. I hope...

(Oh god, I was planning to buy black knights, this month /facepalm)

EDIT: Oh and I forgot my current project, converting flagellants into three units of spirit host... so that makes it
