Booze doesnt work, in fact it makes me feel sick so thats a good thing.

A doctors appointment might not hurt as they can then refer you to a phsycologist or councilor who will be the independent person you might need to talk to that might open up what is bugging you in your sub-concious.

Whatever you decide dont do anything rash and remember we are all here to support you.

Seek out the gamers head to the Local internet arena/ gamer lounge it might cost a little but everyone I've ever met there have been a couple of great people and have become friends with a few and its always been a good day.

And besides you have taken a vital and important step in curing mental issues.

You have reached out, and more importantly people have listened your people the ones you have brought together with what you have made.
And that is no small matter you have made a difference in people's lives MV If it wasn't for CN I would never have been able to express my self as a creative writer, or discover what a comer was used for... A fact I am not too proud of, but you have helped me in a way not one ever has and for this I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you Master Vampire

MV - after reading this thread has it helped at all?

Yes, yes it does.

I'd never had guessed that so many people went through the same thing, or are still feeling the same as me. I think that I can get the motivation to pull through this. I know I can do it.

I also get inspiration from my mom, who stopped smoking after being addicted to it, smoking a pack a day (or more). She told me once that she had quit abruptly, never touching one again.

I think I can do that. The problem is that I need to completly shut out the biggest factor contributing to my depression, and that is my pc (sadly). When I stop gaming (by deleting all the games I have on my pc), I will have to frequent CN less too. Because if I stop gaming I tend to lurk on here a lot. Like in the old days. Nothing's ever good if it's too much. I'll still be here from time to time, but probably not active for some time. Might pop in a few times a week.

I guess the first few weeks will be hard. It will drive me insane. I won't know what to do. But I have so many things I want to do, so I guess that in the end I'll shift my thinking into those things. And those things do not mean gaming or watching tv all day, but more active/social things.

I trust myself enough to get motivated to do this. And if I'm not, I'll always be able to get back on here and read this topic for motivation/support.

Thanks all.
