Black Coach - Need Suggestions.

Are you looking for a coach like object, or large amounts of naked female models? Hmm did I need to ask that question...how about a hot-tub on wheels? Or a pole dancer? That would definatly help me regenerate faster

Welcome back to your plog! :)

For the Black Coach, you may be able to find a palanquin then swap out the bearers for wraiths. Put an honor guard in front, to simulate the horses. On the palanquin, you could put something as simple as a closed coffin. There are a ton of decorative coffin minis out there.

(And you could probably find some naked wraith babes throwing rose petals, to fit it back into the theme. :))

HOW ABOUT... no wait thats not legal anymore...
OR... damn that one went too...
umm...
sorry I know a black coach is a beautiful centre piece but why not go with strippers... I mean wraiths and banshees...
yes...
banshees...

:clown:

Hey the theme of naked ladies works for me. The more armies filled with scantily clad women the better. The corpse cart is a tough one, what about a float, like in parades, with pole dancers on each corner and one draped over a coffin.

How about a corpse cart where the corpses are that of freshly killed virgins with their blood dripping over the edges and a perverted necromancer on the back? Wait...thats probably kinda wrong....

Just finished thru the hole thing must confess I’m quit impressed with the conversions, and the painting aspect is great.
Your necro is a perfect may I ask who makes that model, what’s it’s name and most importantly is their a size difference GW and this one.
I’ll try and see if I can come up with any ideas on B C for you from the rumors going around is that you are quite perverted so I’ll look for something more your taste.
Keep up the good work.

[mod]Count Kill Alot,

Painting logs that have been silent for longer than six months shouldn't be brought back up unless it is a revival by the original creator. This is clearly outlined in the forum rules - look at and admire the models in the thread to your heart's desire, but let it stay there. If you have comments and/or questions for the painter you can tell/ask him or her through personal messages instead of in the inactive thread.

If you feel that anything's not clear with this, please feel free to contact me. Thanks for understanding.[/mod]

I think I'll also go ahead and lock this thread until the original author wills it differently.. although he could just bypass it on his own anyway. :clown:

So, I've been mulling over and I think I'm leaning towards starting a new themed VC army based in The Old World/WHFB, but I really love the Flesheater Courts lore and models. I'm thinking the Lore works just as well in TOW, and then I think I can proxy some units using Flesheater ones - would love any suggestions based on this!

Now onto the the main centrepiece:

This model is superb and I really want to include it...but the only thing I could think of proxying it for would be a Vampire on a Zombie Dragon, would that work do you think? Any other suggestions?

I think at this point I'll probably just get the model for the hell of it, as I love it and then see what my opponents are willing to do!

In the meantime though I got delivered the mounted Wight King I was after plus some other models, will be some nice easing back into Undead painting!

I think the other models I want to have a look for are ghouls, as I've never been a massive fan of the GW ones, even though I like the rest of the range, any alternative suggestions? I do have a 3D printer if there's any great STLs

Mantic's ghouls and zombies are both quite nice, I'm sure you'd be happy with them Disciple of Nagash. They come with moulded circles beneath their feet though, if you want them on GW bases there'll be some cutting and filing. Nothing difficult, mind you, but still.

I also fully support your ambition to use Ushoran in TOW, the combined rider & mount profile makes it more fitting than ever before. 👌

I think my wife might be getting me Ushoran for my birthday or christmas 🤞 But then I've also asked for asked for Prince Vhodrai - that dragon sculpt is stunning!

On the painting front, I think I'm leaning more into some creepy realism, with pale pinky skin, some good gore effects (not overdone) and then probably a lot of practice on contrasting with purple glowing eyes 🤔 If anyone knows any good examples or guides for the skin let me know!

Couple of purchases from eBay! Cool old Liche that I've not seen before and a skellie musician I always wanted, as a kid wondering how he blew his horn xd

I've been digging around and found quite a few of my old models including a lot from the 4th that needs painting, I can post them up if anyone's curious

Whoa, look at all of those classics! Brings a tear to my eye to see so many of those beauties!

That Rackham banshee brings back so many memories of Confrontation being played at our old shop. Oh, wow...

I noticed in another thread you liked the ur-ghoul model (is that the name?) for its eyeless look and I recalled a unit from Kings of War... Nightstalker Scarecrows / Doppelgangers

I'm glad you like them Seneschal, I've found more I need to take pictures of!

You're quite right, I have 2 banshees and a werewolf from Confrontation, thanks for reminding me as I had completely forgotten where I had got them from

Thanks for the link - I've never seen them before, Kings of War has grown so much since I last looked at them. We actually helped Mantic when they first came out, they even sponsored a number of our GB competitions  I'm not on using them as Ghouls though, they have a touch too much of daemonic for me!
