I was just wondering if the banshee howl counts as a LD test for the purposes of say the spell Doom & Darkness. Seems like it would be a good combo.

No, this was discussed somewhere on the forum but I can't remember where.
The primary view was that it wasn't a test because firstly it isn't called one, and secondly it is not rolled by the player who would take tests.

What about the Beguile power? It doesn't say the -3 modifier is cumulative with other ones, does it stack up with D&D to make a -6 LD test?
As of which, I have a seemingly stupid question to ask. With the new forbidden lore vampiric power, do a vampire can still swap his vampiric lore for lore of death (or shadow) or does he have to buy the forbidden lore power to do so?
If I read the book correctly, the 2nd proposition should be the good one, but I just want to make sure I'm right.
