[Seyrinian]

Hello the dead!

this is my first competitive list. It was Olynder that made me want to play nighthaunt so I wanted to put it in and play around its revive.

the bulk of the army will be my battleline which will advance with the wizard and support.
the hexwraith are there to capture the distant objectives and kurdoss to face the big monsters.

my doubts:
- Kurdoss may be a bit expensive? a lord executor Ith Flaming weapon or other heroes could have done the trick? or better synergize
- I don't know if I should put my reapers in packs of 10 or 20?
- 2 pack of spirit host, hard to kill with olynder. and protects olynder and kurdoss... maybe one too many?

I like the list! A couple of tweaks I would do:

1. Split the Reapers into units of 10. Same reason as what we discussed in the other thread.

2. Drop the Arcane Tome and bring Midnight Tome on your Guardian of Souls instead. Without it it will be hard for you to get your Purple Sun through when you need it.

Yeah I think it's better to split. Oh midnight tome is better. And Kurdoss is good idea ? I havedoubt cause he needhis own spirit host unit to protect and the cost of them+kurdoss is 335, maybe betterin lord executor to crush unit ?

I think Kurdoss is worth it. But it depends on what armies you will be facing?

I want try tournament in few months so I don't know the matchup in advance. But for the begnning I face principally hedonist and slaves to darkness, nurgle and maybe stormcast.

Well all of those should have good big targets for Kurdoss to smash like Daemon Princes, Greater Daemons and big stormcast heroes.

Kurds & Lynder are both good, but I'm skeptical of running them in the same list in the current matched play season. Purple Sun is /everywhere/ right now, and that's a lot of points tied up in single model units at risk of being lost to unlucky die rolls.

I wouldn't be too scared of the Purple Sun when playing Nighthaunt, the -1 to saves is unusable against us and the slay on 1s is quite easy to get around since our whole army has fly and good movement. Just spread your heroes out if your opponent brings Purple Fun.

I hesitate to update the list with one unit of 20 bladegheist in place of one of the 20 grimreaper. But not sure play bladegheist withtout scarlett doom is good idea. In fact grimreaper seems to be even for less cost

I think Reapers are a tad better when you don't run Scarlet Doom. The reason is their 2" range on their weapons and the fact they don't have to charge to get their extra attacks.
