Empire Wizard > Necromancer.

I know I already have a necromancer on my Corpse Cart, but I guess i could always say this is another Vampire

I liked the look of the Empire Wizards, and thought I could put a different head on some how and make it fit in with my VC army, and here it is so far;

The book hasn't been attached yet to the front and the face and flames need painting, as well as the foliage on the staff, but it is moving along.

Yeah, the imperial wizards boxed set does indeed make for a good necromancer or two. Also, your purple ghouls intruige me in particular. Why are they purple?! :lol:

Well I found the GW tips on making them green quite boring, and on the box they look kinda boring too, so I experimented

I found a guy on youtube (Thumper) and he had some purple ghouls in his collection and I really like the look of them, mine aren't anywhere near as good as his.

His looks really polished, these are my first ghouls ever, so They aren't painted purple, they were painted in the foundation grey, and washed in purple.

I think these are a little too purple right now, I want to find a happy medium between the grey and purple and then darken it up maybe, i dunno. I'm experimenting right now as I am new

That's really nice man, I like it a lot. Where did you get that flaming skull from, it looks familiar...

Have to say I agree that the gouls look a little strange purple, but then again I'm having trouble with mine with any colour.

Oh yeh, and why is this in general disscussion? Lol? We have a moddeling/painting area.

I looked down the list but couldn't find it, I am blind if someone could move it? would be great.

The flaming skull came from the Wizards box, it originally has a hand on it which I presume is for a wizard to hold it, so I filed down the hand, smoothed it out and made it just into a head.

I think th ghouls look kinda cool in purple when all lined up, the guys ghoul in the video looks a hell of a lot nicer than mine though, suits it too.
