Does anyone else use Battlescribe? I have been having issues when I try to add magic items to vampire heroes or Wight Kings. Is anyone else having this problem? Have you found a way around it or fixed it?

I'm using it. I use my own catalog I modified though as the main one has some errors in it that weren't getting corrected. If the source file became corrupted then you could have the problems your having.

The VC 'scribe that is out there has the hero adding magic items malfunction for all, seen it brought up a lot of times, both here and other race forums.
My file has the error too.

Here is the public link to my catalogs. Vampire Counts 8th is the proper version I cleaned up. My wood elves 8th revision I wrote from scratch because I couldn't find a wood elves catalog I liked. I plan to go back through vampires and tweak it a little more with what I learned doing WE. I will remove the redundant older files from the catalog soon too. Here is the link:

I got it just fine, but I am still having the problem where it crashes when I try to choose magic items for vamps or WKS. I even deleted the BS repositories. What are some of the changes you made? Can we finally label necromancers as Master of the Dead??
Did you delete your previous data registry? My link and file is working for me. No errors at all. Go to manage data, delete all data and then put the link in. Be warned your previous lists may be view only after that as they were built with previous file that was corrupted.
Other option is to try and add my registry with your existing one. So, add link as a data source then make sure to choose the file vampire counts 8th.

Yes. But it was still available to use... When you choose the army, choose v25 instead of v19

Just giving everyone who is using my Battlescribe link a heads up. I cleaned out the older files that had issues and re-index the location. The link above still works. There is the possibility that if you may get an error. If you do, just clean out your old data files and then re-import the repository. There is only the most current of each fantasy list, with the exception of dwarves because I do not play them. If someone has an 8th edition dwarves file I can throw them in there too. Just make sure its at the same level of standards as the other files please.
