New list looks solid. I'd swap the level 4 to the Vamps caster for the extra wounds on the VH/archai, but up to you. Big fan of the double blenders.

My only concern is that neither of them have quickblood? At only...what...T5 5+4++ they're a bit vulnerable, no? Though I guess you'd have to cut wizard levels to afford the upgrade. That's a tough choice.

i have a good new idea...morghast become harbingers and with 41 points i give heavy armor and 4th magic level to the general vampire lord....and with vanhel or vigor harbingers become even more powerful than archai....and vanhel on 2 lords with red fury and s7....OMG XD

That becomes beastly yeah, they still lose some anti armour capability though at S5 and that's sort of why you had them but they'll still wreck some face. The main drawback of Archai: they're in the rare section. Shame they look so much more badass than harbingers.

The thing I'll caution with double blenders is that they only preserve their points well if they can mulch whatever they're touching before it hits back. For the 1200+ points their unit costs, your opponent can throw a whole heck of a lot of hurt into them and they're only 3 T5 wounds a piece. Fail a few ward saves and a lot of points go down the drain. Things like star dragons really give you a hard time, as they go in and challenge and if you don't kill them straight away the thing will step on your vampire if it doesn't kill him outright with attacks. Boo. Also nurgle DPs and the like.

PD and star dragon are annoying...but they would be in challenge with skeleton champion ...then my terrorgheist will toast them xd

however i understand your point but i think that with all the stuff i bring on the table, i can fight well Dp/dragon

I´ve always wanted to have the guts to take just the Vlord as the only vampire lore caster; but in the very first game i did it, in the very first spell (and yes, with TWO dice), he miscasted and went to chaos, so... XDDDD!

In my meta almost every chaotic takes the hellcannon, so the t-bat has limited survivability against them.

This is true, but the tbat can actually take a significant amount of abuse from warmachines before going down...especially after a few magic phases. If you think about how much damage those hellcannons could do elsewhere it's less concerning having him shooting at a tbat all game.

[...] if you are shooting at TG, you aren't shooting to everything else

This is the true benefit of the terrorgheist. It's a "no brainer" shooting priority, that usually eats 2 full rounds of shooting before it goes down. Your opponent won't even think about whether there might be better options to shoot at (like my 1500 point double blender bus). People shoot at the TG until it's dead and then that's that.

Just don't rely on it to do much of anything and you're fine.

exactly....if they concentrate on it, it will probably die (but not so easy expecially with vampire lore healing) but the other 2000points of army are safe....if they ignore it to shoot to something else....then it can scream their soul away and punish them for ignoring it :D

And if you are lucky, it can even survive all the enemy shooting for all the game, hahaha!

In the end it is rreally more a psychological weapon than anything else... but it works
