Fantastic new bat swarms

[Count Homogenised]

Due soon from Masquerade Miniatures

EDIT - 15 July 2008 - they must had replaced the pictures of the original swarm with the new ones as this post is now displaying the same set of pictures as my later update

[Disciple of Nagash]

Much better than the flying monkeys we currently have, if only bat swarms had better rules...................

Still maybe a nice idea of putting on your lords base etc

[Bigpig]

Oh very nice.

[The Dark Lord Mr Fluffy]

Wow, those are great!

[Nedar]

Bat Swarms aren't terrible since you can heal them at d6...though having zombie stats doesn't help a lot.

[N.I.B]

The first model is really cool, (albeit a little fragile) though I'm not sure about the second.

[Seras]

I love the look but how well do you think that firts picture would stand up in combat..... alos I don't normally use Bat Swarms but might take a unit or two just to see how these models work... maybe.

[Skaramak von Carstein]

They do look very nice, but I also am not sure how well they would hold up to being handled.

[Count Homogenised]

Looks like they will be fairly expensive once P&P is paid.

So an expensive, hard to assemble and fragile model for a unit that a lot of people don't rate =

It's still cool though!

[Count Homogenised]

Masquerade are currently in the process of producing a more robust version of these that require a lot less assembly. I'm liking the look of these.

[Hoenheim]

Ooh, now we're talking. That's a lot better than the extremely fiddly looking "you get ten tiny bats, have fun" set earlier. These look like I might just use them!

Now, how many of those will we stick on each base...

[The Dark Sheep]

Nice... I think I'll have another look at their rules... nope... still crappy... well I think I'll get some anyway...

[Zephyr]

Those look really cool and I'll definitely buy them. Might just use them for scenery purposes.

[Yudas]

Those are indeed very cool! Makes me want to make a scenic piece with them flying from a cave or something!

Yudas.

[ancalagon06]

I wonder if you could do this with the gw bats. Just cut 'em off their little stand, turn 'em so they're on their belly, and some creative bending and pinning...

[Trevy the Great]

Whoa, I really like those. Assume they are at a non-prohibitive price I might pick up a few.

[Disciple of Nagash]

Yep, these beat the other ones, as mentioned I might just get some to have as scenery, maybe some flitting over my Black Coach.........................idea copyrighted!! No stealing!!

[Gorknoth]

Ok.. I will keep my hands of that ide
but that's a good one..
These bats actually looks like they're flying forward, not up like GWs, beside they looks like flying monkeys ..
