Are they? :)
I have no experience with any form of resin models or whatever they are called by GW and I'm hoping I don't have to hunt down metal mods in order to do what I'm thinking of.

Honestly, going from metal to fine cast is a dream, if it had the reliability of the metal molds they would beat it in every way but price.
They are easy to convert, even green stuffing is easier as the material is allot softer which you will notice when trying to blend green stuff into a model to hide a join.

Thanks, guys. For some reason people were saying it is more difficult to work with them, claiming that they "bend when you try cutting them" or something to that effect.

I think it's really easy to use them. Cut using a box cutter or some other type of razor and then use a fine file. I stole my wife's nail file and that worked awesome.
