So I'm looking at a pretty condensed army around the corpse cart and the mortis engine.

I would ditch the master necromancer and give your normal one +1 level, master of dead and then spend the left over points on what ever you want. I think a master necromancer in 1k points is unnecessary. It's of course up to you but this is just my opinion.

Well with only one wizard in the army its a little iffy and i can't quite squeeze in the points in the heroes portion so i'm stuck with the lords. but otherwise pretty good?

hmmm the mortis engine seems a heap of points in a 1k army. Instead of it you could just about have a 20 strong squad of GG with FC.
