FIrst Models i've ever painted :P (My Vc Army starts Here ^^ ) (zombie wip)

greetings all =)

Ok so i started entering the world of warhammer fantasy and the vampires army about 3 months, i choosed the purple/metal/bronze and black to be my base colors i liked it when i painted my first model ( one of the wraits and i continued painting little by little my army i would like to know your opinions about it =)

30 First Ghouls (i started making a lava themed bases but i'm going to change it soon not what i had in mind

These are my first painted grave guards i was still finishing them when i took the photos sry bout the fingers in last foto it was the only way i found to get the light i needed and once more the bases will be changed

This a last hour convertion i made for a wight king bsb on foot i didnt had the model so i made my own i think it didnt came out too bad

finaly this is my bsb near to 2 wraiths and a banshee that i painted ( still need to base them up =) )

i'm thinking in buying vlad blister and the avatars of war female vampire =) currently i only have 2 vampires on horses still to paint =).

I've been resising the pictures sry for the size they were i had to leave home in a hurry.

I hope to get some more feedback on the painting dou you like the ghouls color?

Those pictures are very small, but from what I can see they look excellent. For first models these are awesome.

Yes the ghouls are looking good I love the skin tone, it isnt far off mine just cleaner. I would suggest either of those two models (or a Konrad) for a good lord.

I am curious if that is a printed banner or if your just that good at freehand.

Lastly I tried purple as a army color and it just didnt work well for me. But seeing yours makes me want to try it again in the future. as it is the sylvania armies original colors. Keep up the good work.

yes i painted some more when i was still on vacation now classes started much less time to paint unfortunately still have here at home 50 ghouls and 2 boxes of zombies to assemble and paint.

The bases i will just cover the lava river with black sand like the rest of the base drybrush it put some rocks and some dead grass i think its the best thing to do since i am getting started =)

About the tournament it was my first one, i got on 19th place out of 26 with 5753 victory points in 5 five games, i lost against deamons of chaos Bretonia (0-300 bad luck since i dind katch is general unit by 1" when it flee from combat =\ i would have won if it wasnt last turn =\ )
and i lost against skaven in last game ( hellpit abomination is really hard...i didnt know it =\), i won to WoC ( 2347 victory points) i killed all of its models, and i won to dwarfs (in the breakpoints mission)

but well...i think overrall despite of had lost 3 of the five games it was good for me to get to know the other armies and how they play. =)

i just started to make a unit filler for grave guards since i dont have much money to spend and i dont work i have to get ways to get my army done i leave some photos of it down it's not finished yet but i will finish it soon hope you like it tell me if you have ideas for unit fillers to grave guard

Nice start, the grave guard look very effective with that deep purple colour.

it looks good. Im glad to read that you are changing the base colors the red of the lava drew your eye away from the models.

Those mantic ghouls remind me of a dance troop i saw one time. jk . debating if i want to get those for myself now.

Vlad and the vampire countes, that sound good. And the skin tone on the ghouls is great, looks really human (cause ghouls are "humans" after all...)

currently i'm assembling some zombies and geting ideias for some convertions

here is a draw that i made in a hurry lol for the idea to my black coach ( its bad draw but.. its was realy drawed like in 5 min loool i think you kan get the idea )

I wanted to have a center piece of my army and for me the coach its the better choiçe

why a dragon? you ask, for me is just because a flufier idea( and i like dragons lol) my idea is if the coach gains the fly power wy not have a dragon that will fly the coach instead of horses that start flying like the "et" movie .

the horses i think i will use marauder horses painted black with a grey drybrush in the hairs and red eyes ( it will take a little long time to get the model ready but as soon as i make it i will post it here this is just a wip ) (Hope you like the idea )

After seeing Werecat Youth's Turn Counter i stayed like Green with envy x'D so i decided to do one for me as i was a little tired of assembling ghouls and zombies ( Werecat Youth sry for stollen idea but i simply had to get one for me )

All i can say i wow! really impressive models for your first ones ) really love the darkness they inspire you could improve a bit by highlighting the purple clothes (just a suggestion).the bases rock overall it is a fantastic work keep it up

i think it will be a little difrent but i get your point for the dragon part i'm think of use this reaper Skeletal Dragon

i think its a good model to make it as it is already in skeletal.

You've got one? how is it's size? is it too big ? or you think it will be a good size to make the coach?
