Not sure if this is the right place for this sorry if not.
So under the current rules fear works as follows.
At the start of each close combat round unit in cc with models that cause fearmust take a ld test before any attacks.
If test is passed no problem if it's failed Ws is reduced to one for the remainder of that round.
That is all fear does nowadays. What about in maybe the 6th edition where you had to take a fear test before even charging which if failed could leave the would be attacker open for a counter charge next turn etc. Also does anyone think fear could/should be used in other phases? For example what's to stop some Dwarf thunderers being too afraid to fire on some skegs, why would you fear something only close up?
