Stunning, simply stunning. I have looked at your pictures ceaselessly and i must say that i am quite impressed by your work. Highlights look great, Freehand is flawless, and you make the miniatures your own. I hope that when i get my shipment of Vampires from work i can make them look as half as good as yours. I also love the new necromancer with his red- highlighting purple aproach. How did you think of this and what other colors may work in this manner? i assume primary colors will work on any of the secondary colors? Also, what brush are you using for the freehand and how would you rate the GW colors for these small details (foundation as well)?

I really like the necrach model, I've been considering using one of the necraches (the other one though) as one of my vampires for a while. I'd have prefered the scroll to be a bit more beige, closer to bleached bone rather than the white, making it look more ancient, which I think fits vampires better.
The Grave Guard are beautiful too, though I cannot comprehend why someone would choose the old ones over the new ones ;) I guess our opinions differ greatly regarding the new grave guards :)

Great models, continue painting and showing them :)

Thanks for your concern, my friends.

To Madcap422: At first, I like to blend fundamental colors. I painted my necromancer’s cloak with several layers from dark purple (Blue, red and a little black) to light purple (Blue, red and a little white). And then added some patterns (some yellow thorns in red flame) on it. I think the primary colors work on any of the secondary colors very well if you make the change smoothly. The second, I use some 000 scale brushes bought from local stationer. It is only 5 RMB each. The third, I think the GW colors for these small details are very good. Wish you have a spectacular VC army before long.

To Frejdruk: Thanks for your advice on the scroll. In the beginning of painting, I wanted to use whole cold color series for Necrach, so painted his scroll with white and purple. And the new grave guards, yes, they have more details and more well-balanced figure. But I feel they are too fragile to act as the mainstay of my army. It’s only my opinion.

To lord marcus: I use the Tamiya Epoxy Putty (quick type) as green stuff. I think you can find it in model store.

And the Superman in zombie form. I want make a zombie army of Justice League.

Sylvania's seven greatest heroes unite against the threat of an allied invasion of empire and dwarf and decide to remain together to defend Realm of dead against attacking Chaos, Orcs, Elves, and any other threat that might arise.
