Ok so did anyone here manage to GET THE BOOK? I have been having a really hard time since canadian stores got ONE copy each and a staff member took it each time. Not to mention with out the book its hard to know WTF to order to build my Loyalist Deathguard :mad2:

couldn't you borrow the store copy, read what you want, and then order both at the same time? Yeah that is outrageous postage :zombie:
I'd imagine somebody on this website wouldn't mind. But you'd have to do it off the website mind, I can't imagine its hugely legal or whatever.

The tactical squad surely must still be there, but I'd imagine that you could get larger squads of marines now that they are so expendable. Anyone with the book enlightnen us further?
I am pretty sure it is all more or less the same organizationally at the squad/company level- chapters may have more companies and there are more chapters, but the squads/companies largely stay the same. Of course, I won't know for sure till the book arrives....
Tactical Squads aren't in. There are legion marine squads (straight up bolter monkey squads), assault squads, specialist squads, and heavy squads. They do it very Eldar style.

10-20 for legion and assault squads, 5-10 for specialist (volkite chargers, meltas, flamers), and heavy (assorted heavy weapons.)

Every specialist barring sarge has a specialist weapon. All legion marines have bolters, and can bladestorm if standing still. It's basically a marine version of craftworld eldar.
WHAAA Specialist melta squad?? HOLY SH*T that is ridiculous. 9 melta guns!! The amount of firepower must be outrageoous..

Still can't get why people like marines so much... they just instinctively annoy me.. I think its the devotion.

Well, I personally like marines because I like to defend humanity hehe (I like all forces of the empire except the damn inquisition). But what attracts me most to the marines is the fluff and the great posibilities for conversions and the amount of detail I can add to them because of the flat pieces of armor. And probably other reasons that I dont remember haha.

You mean the horus heresy? Dark Heresy is a roleplay ruleset which has no marines in it (except as enemies) So I assume in the horus heresy is what you mean.
The horus heresy was lead by marines on both sides yes, but both sides also had vast armies of regular infantry backing them up, and daemons did get involved on the traitor side too. (Just only in certain battles, such as Signus Prime)
