Well, it's been a long, long time. I'll dust off the cobwebs with a photo of something I've finished recently, an undead giant.

Finally! Someone older than me! xD The legend that is @Mr Saturday, always love your models and this is no exception! What range is it from?

Just everything about it is superb, the realistic-looking bone, rusty cleaver and armour. Great work. Don't suppose I could somehow convince you to tell us or write a tutorial on how you achieve those?

Hello! It's fun to be back. It's from Macrocosm Miniatures, though I've added armour to the arms and shoulder, as well as the vulture.

The bone is Foundry Boneyerd 9A, Agrax Earthshade, then layered with 9A and then Boneyard 9B and then 9C. Maybe a recess wash of GW Skeleton Horder contrast if needs be. The metal is GW Chainmail or Ironbreaker, Nuln oil wash, then a wash of 50:50 Mechrire Red: Lahmian Medium, then a wash of 50:50 Macharius Solar Orange:Lahmian Medium for fresher rust. Drybrush with GW Stormhost Silver. Finally blend some Typhus Corrosion into recesses here and there to represent filth, corrosion and grime.

Cheers! We've been speaking about seeing if there's any interest in a another Golden Bat in the near future, I reckon your models should certainly be entered!

I can't figure out which one I like the most... 🤔 I'm really liking the captain, but then the one stood behind with the beard and the staff just looks epic, and the one far right almost looks like he has a mermaid pose!🤣

Cracking work as usual Mr Saturday, look forward to the whaler and the drowned ogre

I swear Mr Saturday - you manage to find more unusual undead models than anyone else, and then of course make them look fantastic! I just caught up and did very much love your pirate crew and the russian undead gang is brill!

The painting on Stephane Dreux particularly stands out, the best way I can describe it is that the armour looks hot, like it's almost molten - was that hard to do?

Of course love the wights xd - them I do recognise! I hope you'll be entering in the upcoming Golden Bat?

Thanks! I do like some eclectic undead, tis’ true. Stephane’s armour is a lot of layers. It’s Flesh Tearer’s Red contrast over Wraithbone. Clean up with Mephiston Red. Highlight with Evil Suns Scarlet, then Wild Rider’s Red, Tau Light Ochre and then Kislev Flesh. Recess wash Druchii Violet with medium in a 1:1 mix. Then glaze the whole thing with Bloodletter Red & medium, again 1:1.

The wights are, as you spotted, old Gary Morley sculpts. The knight in front is barely out a month. It’s by Wolfbaneart. There’s a whole undead Bretonnian retinue sculpted to go with him.

Golden Bat eh? Why I may just do.

Love how you say "regular" when your skellies are anything but  great additions and like the rusting here, normally see it with an orange hue but the red works nicely. With the verdigris on the scale armour, it reminds me a tad of red mold and so gives me a slightly damp rotting/rusting vibe!
