I'm super glad that DoN is back xD

But why don't we finish off this chapter and all rally back at the castle. If we round this chapter off in the next few days, that means we can reconvene at Drakenhof ready for DoN to jump straight back in. I cant imagine he will say no to this Chapter and delete it, as it as given us the gift of team work

So, two options, wait for DoN (as long as that may be) or finish this chapter off before he ffeturns and bring our Characters back to Drakenhof.

What does everyone think?

OK guys, just be careful about DoN. Real life is unpredictable, and could stop him for another few months.

EDIT: Lucy, Morty is going to try and take the magelord down now. Oh, and I'll play the part of the magelord until he dies (as I know the tricks he has in store for everyone).

Just remember we need to fail a few times/spread it out over a few posts ... Mage Lord is going to one of the more difficult enemies in this battle, and so will take a few posts to kill ...

Yes, Malochai, I said that two pages ago when I detailed how I was going to kill him. dude your sooo last page!

Ok, I'm back.

I do want to apologies for just dropping of the face of the earth like I did, things have been....unsettling in my personal life to say the least.

On a positive note I do now have two weeks off over Christmas and New Year, and plan on spending a good amount of time catching up here at CN.

I do have a lot to review, so likely I will be posting here in the next few days.

However one thing I do really want to get a better track of is sideplots. There have been varying discussions via PM's but it does make it difficult to track. Unless any of you have any objection, I would like to attach a form for players to complete. It will basically be a form for certain key info to be filled in, utilising a timeline template to clearly lay out key events and plot changes. I plan to do a similar one for the main plot, so I can then overlay all this information in a concise way which makes sense.

Ummm...please elaborate on what the form for sideplots will be, Don? Where it will be, and should we still PM our sideplots to you? My sideplot has been largely ignored, so it would be great if you could put up some organised system to deal with sideplots, Don.

Unfortunately, you missed Page 69, DoN. :(

As DoN has arrived back into CN, most of us want to end this battle quickly. As such, Morty has killed off the abomination really quick (it may seem like glory hunting, I'm just trying to save time: anyway, the Lord of Ravens got the chance to deal with the abomination first) and the mage has proved himself to be the main target for the vamps. To save even more time, I have PM'd Archy with an idea. Rowhaine should probably start smashing skaven as the Champion of the Gods is the only one who's done nothing to help in this battle.

I understand that there may be a move to finish this battle quicker than it was going to be before DoN returned, but I must say I object to arbitrary decisions ... Should it not have been a decision made by others as well, and maybe others might have been able to have a go; after all, Shah was asked by Dieter to aid Peter, and I was going to write up a post tonight about attempting to combat the Abomination when I got a response from Get, and a group effort could have been a good way to cement the new-found group spirit of the Council ...

Sideplots; they will be on the same premise as before. It is not the idea that has changed, it is purely how you give the data to me. Having loads of PM's then taking the various different formats you give me the info and combining it into one cohesive timeline is time consuming and awkward.

May plan is to make a template that you can all complete with information - it will be very easy to understand. This will then make it easier for me to combine and should mean I can come back to you quicker.

Also; please don't rush to finish the current chapter just for me. I have just copied and what I have missed into one document that I can read on my phone to catch up, and it is 212 pages long :O

I will be reading this over the next couple of days, after which I will post. So you do have time to wrap things up nicely.

So over the next few days things should look like:

- Post new sideplot form
- Catch up on posts
- Think of decent way to get Rowhaine back involved
- Get TVC II back on track -> I imagine this will be over the weekend if no one has any objections.

Ok, attached is the template for the sideplots.

I think it is simple enough to understand, and hopefully should make things nice and clear!

I would appreciate if everyone who has a sideplot, whether previously discussed with me or not, fills in and sends to me. I will then start getting a nice overview over what is going to happen xd

Awesome! I know Harland has been very paranoid about our sub-plot going ashtray, so this will ease his mind (I hope).

For all those in the battle:
I'd just like to point out that there are one or two immediate threats to be dealt with: (in rough order of importance)
1. Massive vermin lord
2. Squads of stormvermin armed with poison globes attacking you at the front.
3. One squad in particular broke through the line and is charging the mages (all the people with magic stuff fueling the shield and stuff).
4. Napalm-equivalent net thrower thingies on the West flank as well as what remains of the skaven slave hordes
5. Warpfire throwers cutting off your retreat
6. Artillery
7. Massive mechanical worm + general
8. Remnants of the first half of the horde and a bunch of lesser grey seers running around mindless with panic.
9. Minefield
10. Rattling guns
