I just assumed Morty turned to face Alastor, I had wanted morty to hear Alastor, I just wanted Alastor to ass it as a little mocking afterthought, hence the murmuring. But I'd still agree with darvys point.

The hell!!! A Mind reading character was allowed in??

Edit: it's not mentioned in her bio either? Huh?

Not mind reading, she uses her thoughts to talk to the female characters so she can hear what they're thinking as well, but not what they know. It's like being on a three way phone call without the other two knowing you're there until you speak up.

Yeah, k that makes sense, but how does she know that Elanor is prone to violent outbursts?

I'm happy with a mind reader, te problem is that it tends to f*ck up the plot because (for example) any of us could be spies to the enemy, and you'd instantly find out and make the whole plot way less interesting. Some of the awesome plot twists in TVC were about treachery.

Ah... Crap...
And if she did find out that one of the three females currently assembled, she'd only be able to tell the other two who obviously wouldn't be trusting a creepy woman who lurks in the shadows and speaks to them through thoughts.
Edit: Fixed it. Sorry, got a bit carried away with it =\

Hehe no worries man, just be careful when you use the thought reading power,'it's pretty plot ruining if you don't think carefully enough  have fun!

Ps, looks like Alastor has a "most creepy" contest competition to do xD

Hm, an idea for your telepathy..

you can establish a link with people, you talk with them and say they can direct their thought to you. You only know these the thoughts that are directed to you through the link, eliminating any way of "knowing too much".
And you might still know things like who is prone to violence and who's crazy atc by some kind of overal scan of thought patterns, knowing some personality traits (but not actually hearing their thoughts).

Or.... Ezra has made a vow that comes with her vow of silence, to not use the extra knowledge gained or notify anyone of what she has learned without consent.

Something like that.

Yeah so basically what the Kraskor Kruë already have going :D feel free to join in.

Problem with the vow is that she still has the knowledge, and it could be obtained in some means. The first idea works much better IMO, actually if she could hear Kraskor Kruë's conversations thatd be hilarious.! xD

I mean you could have written that Evra detected Elanor's madder side if you had phrased it less obviously:

a) Evra used mind Hack and discovered Elanor's darker side, as well as her bank account details, favourite movie and sexual orientation.

Or

b) As Evra mentally conversed with Elanor, she sensed a darker undertone, something more... Sinister.

There you're saying the same thing, it just seems less overpowered. Hope this helps..

Personally I am pretty happy with a telepath that can just skim the surface of a mind and thoughts directed towards them. Your post was fine by me. As long as you can't just read off all my secrets it's okay.

She can only hear females thoughts when she's in a certain vicinity, so I'd say about 15 meters. And no, it's just those thoughts.

b) is alright, a) is unacceptable for roleplay purposes IMO.

I'm just popping in again to say that I absolutely love Graveclaw and Rask. They've been amazing, and I have no doubt they'll continue to be so. And whoever the purple voice is (no spoilers, please) is just peachy.

I don't think Rask will be in this RP; he's either dead, or the guy who posted him (I think it was gree) isn't interesting any more.

I think most of us have our opinions about who the purple voice is anyway.

Poor Kavok, he's got Hugo at the rear and the lahmians in his front. Even if he manages to escape them, he might run into morty, and the necromancer has been lonely since Nagash died...

Can morty use the link? I thought not, since he's not a vampire. Even so, can he send messages to people's minds?

Darvy, morty could see Alastor's mouth, so he was basically able to get the gist of what he was saying. I explained that badly IC, and will edit it now.

Hey thought I might as well join in on all the fun, hopefully my character is approved Mikhail is a half Kislevite, half Aesling (chaos marauder tribe) who is the champion, herald and personal boy toy of the Tzarina who he is utterly dedicated to.
Fear him for is is an idiot
This should be fun:)

@Sweeney, yeah that was the intended opinion

@DK I don't think everyone can just hop on the "mental communication" bandwagon :/

@CM sounds like a cool character, only problem: how the hell (when vampires are about to start a huge war with chaos) is he going to be on the good side?

Mikhail is a Kislevite (well half a one any way) and since all Kislevites hate chaos he will probably fight alongside anyone as long as he gets to fight the forces of chaos. Whilst he is half Aesling he was abandoned by his people due to his mixed blood (they hate Kislevites pretty badly) being brought up by Kislevites hence his strong hatred of chaos including his people, (my Bio explains it a bit more kinda)

Ahhh, that makes sense, sorry I misread the character yours was subservient to as tzeench  I really shouldn't be doing this when I'm ill, I've made like 10 mistakes in the last day.

I think we've reached the point where frankly any person who has done this much insulting would be killed. Alastor is civilised enough not to actually kill him, but he's hopeful that enough people will join in to make it look genuine. Then we can actually show morturion that vampires have self restraint and honour. So DK, please don't post right after mine incase anyone feels like (or like not) joining in.

If no-one joins in alastor's screwed.

Can we try to remember that Graveclaw did not tackle the lord Imperator to the ground please. Graveclaw in fact tackled a homunculous in the form of Simon.

Yeah, I think we know that, but I think all the characters including graveclaw though he was Simon unless I'm mistaken?

@Mortis - Just so we were all on the same page here. Telepathic powers can easily be abused, but glad you don't want it to go that way.

@Lucifer - But.. Nimrais has mind conversations! Albeit to herself :p
