"Ghost" in the machine?

How come the site keeps telling me I've been logged in at odd times when I definitely haven't? I know so little about computer tech that I don't know where to start !

Where is it telling you that you have logged in?

Have you remained logged in on a mobile device such as an iPhone?

Have you set your time zone correctly, and is this set to use member-specific time zone settings?

OK, example- this is first time I've been on since wednesday- it's now friday, 6.38 am. Last log on says yesterday. I don't have an I phone, or anything similar, and am confused. It's not desperate, just baffling. Part of the problem, of course, is my technical incompetence, but this is beyond me.

Please accept my humble apologies. Have just found that my son has been using my access to internet, and visiting my sites. In hindsight, it's obvious, but I guess it takes the obvious to show it up. I hope this hasn't wasted too much of your time, and, again, profound apologies.

Hehe. I blame my children for everything. That's why I don't log in on the machine/user acct that they use. Of course as a network admin I tend to keep password on most things and choose "don't remember" by default. Its a good habit to get In to.
