Heroes cannot take items or powers (or groups thereof) that are in excess of 50 points.
I strongly suggest not taking 3 characters at this point level. Your list will struggle to deal damage so I'd consider investing in some damage dealers.

The guy I was playing thought the army was 'hilarious'
My lvl 4 has it. ToP never got used. That's the story.
We had fun
My first magic round got no spells off. My second, I rolled 2 ones. Normally that would piss me off but the black periphat had two dice in it. Got off curse of years and IoN.
After that he spent a lot of his magic dice dispelling curse of years
I ended up winning with my poor dice rolls and my lucky zombies, overran so many things!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will do this army again

I've tried so many things. mini-vamp does nothing (for me) vamp with nothing rules! But give CH's' vanhels, miss every attack with rerolls' give zombies either vanhel's or viguor, everything dies.
That's with opponent trying to stop them.
Don't recommend this for comp's but fun against friends

All Zombies seems like a fun list, could even be competitive sometimes, but I simply don't have the patience to paint 400+ Zombies 
What army will he be playing? Zombies will do better in combat with Empire troops than they would with Dwarfs so it's good to know.
A cart will slow your army down as it can't march and when facing a gunline, it's important to engage as swiftly as possible.
You can give Forbidden Lore guy a shot but your opponent will just wait for Wildform and dispel that, letting the IoN's through as zombies are cut down easily in combat.
