The blood knights are 100 dollars for a box of 5 where I buy my stuff. There is nothing under appreciated about that.

Thats what I paid for mine...after years of staring at them and saying no thats too expensive. But warhammer is my hobby and in the long run thats still nothing compared to my brothers 68 chevelle that he has 50 grand sunk into. I wonder how much warhammer I could get for 50 grand?

I find when you are bringing a unit to obliterate whatever they charge into. You aren't too picky about what's trying to taunt them into a charge.

Not to mention all that wild rider extra speed is fairly useless when you have nothing else to have the wild riders provide back up too. Your basically hoping the units been softened enough to die to the charge.

Yes...but that's exactly what they're MADE for. Shooting heavy army where the wild riders smash in to finish things off. Not that 6 wild riders can't demolish an entire unit of skeletons in one round.

As for obliterating, you're right that it doesn't matter...until they're frenzied. I'm not even remotely concerned about stuff like skullcrushers, blood knights, or witch elves anymore because they're so easy to lead around the board with chaff. Wild Riders can just dance around them though. Fast cav is a really big deal...

I find that units of 40 witch elves with a str 6 hag with 8 attacks kill anything even if they blindly charge into it. Fire and forget. Doesn't matter.

Which is why you use 80 points worth of direwolves to take them out of the game. Freennzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyy....off into the middle of nowhere.

Anyone running a witch elf horde will have dark riders, 3-4 RBT's and shades running around to eliminate things like wolves and Raise Dead minions. Warlocks can lend a hand with Doombolt as well.
