I want to run my lord on dragon with a great weapon since he has the nightshroud so whoever i was against would also have ASL and being I7 my lords going first anyway. Im having an issue deciding on what would be the simplest conversion thou since there are no vampires with GWs (way to go GW). Can someone suggest a conversion for me?

I might be wrong but I think 2 models with asl strike simultaneously, not in I order.

on your question, simplest would be
find a model you like with gw, and do a headswap maybe. or take arms and sword from greatswords, if u like puffy arms...
even a high elf sword, with long hilt, put it in right hand, held up, as in challenge or charge?

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440114a&prodId=prod1160057a this guy is a personal favourite of mine for a vampire with great weapon. all you really need to do is carve the bow/ arrows off. if you want to mount it on a dragon then you'd have a little bit more work for twisting the legs but it wouldn't be too hard with finecast
Hmm i thought that you went in inititive order if you both had the same rule, glad that has never come up, so do I have to give him quick blood to get him to go first? Yes I would be using the new lord on dragon model as my base
yes, qb Will cancel out Gw's asl, hence he Will strike in Initiative order.

If you don't have a scythe, as Adam advised, they are pretty easy to make with an old credit/membership/whatever card and a standard banner (anything with an easy hand swap).
does anyone know how well the metal chaos warrior great weapons would fit on the new plastic vamp lord on dragon?

If you dont mind your vamp being a girl, why not use the carmine dragon with the Elspeth von Whatsherface from forge world. Its quite expensive, but the model is lovely.
