Great Weapon wielding Grave Guard

I plan to include within my force a converted regiment of Grave Guard wielding Great Weapons. The models which I plan to use to represent these are the 2007 re release of the Empire Greatswords, which I will use in combination of the new undead Skeleton Warriors, to create a new unit of "Imperial Themed Undead Great Weapon Wielding Grave Guard",
To achieve this I'll be doing head swaps, along with limb swapping to give the unit a long dead appearance.

Has anyone seen this done before with the new range of miniatures, as so reference material would help me greatly. Thanks in advance,

Sounds expensive... sounds like you'll be swearing a lot when cutting of not only the head but all those big hats and beards... that, and it sounds like it's going to look awesome

Personally I think I'd opt for a more easy option, maybe mixing and matching the new Empire State soldiers with Grave Guard pieces.

But if you can pull it off, it'll be really great.

These greatswords are very solid models. You need quite some experience in greenstuffing and modelling I think.

It will be expensive, hard and timeconsuming, but then again, like Hohenheim said, if it works, it will be great!

My only tip would be to buy one blister first and see how it works. Good luck!

Yes, I'm seeing the most difficult area as being removing the heads from the torsos. As it appears that the beards of some of them are joined to it, as well as the poofy hats. I'll probably by a box of each when I go to GW next and try it out.
