Greetings! As the title suggests, I'm new. Not just to these forums, but to Warhammer in general. Okay, I'm not brand new to the game, I did play LotR back in, oh, seventh grade. I really had no idea what I was doing, it just looked fun. So it's been almost a decade since I've played. I just went and bought/ordered a small army to start with of VC because I love the idea of an undead army with a cruel Vampire at the head of it.

Just thought I'd say hello, ask for some advice and introduce myself! My name, for now, is Abhorred, I'm from North Jersey, and I'd like to get into Vampire Counts.

You'll find that the VC army is full of characterful units and options, I think you'll enjoy playing them!

Despite essentially missing out on an entire phase (Vampire counts have very limited ranged attacks beyond magic) you will find that this is one of the most tactically flexible armies out so you aren't boxed into a certain playstyle
