Halloween-themed VC

[Vesh von Alberict]

Oooooooh! The PumpkinBug is awesooome!

[Drachenfels]

love it so far (the pumpkin spider is awesome, might to nick the idea of using spiders as my dire wolves!) here's a few ideas:

> Jack the Pumpkin King from 'The Nightmare before christmas' as a character.
> Famous monsters as characters? (Dracula, Frankenstein, The Werewolf, The Headless Horsemen etc)
> Have a group of zombie-kids pulling along a cart full of sweets as a Corpse Cart?

[Zephyr]

I absolutely love Halloween so I cannot help but like your theme. The spider looks great.

[Count Brambleten]

i have to say that the pumpkins look brilliant. what are you going to do for Grave Guard?

[Trevy the Great]

Livin' them! Very nice job on the pumpkins. If I have one quandry with these brilliant conversions, it's that you need to spend a little more time clearing mold lines.

[Disciple of Nagash]

Great conversions, that standard bearer is ace but like the other's I love the pumpkin bug!

[Reincus]

Saw these and thought of this thread.

[Evil Clown]

Hello again everyone,

Here's the finished unit of Spiders:

Front

Above

I couldn't decide what army to do first (Halloween VC or Children of Father Pox), so I guess I'm doing both now

Anyways, comments appreciated.

[Disciple of Nagash]

Fantastic!! I want them, they are so much better than dire wolves.

[Evil Clown]

That was fast:| And thanks!

[The Dark Lord Mr Fluffy]

drool worthy

You get 3 and a half thumbs up from me!

[Nethirsalis]

@ Mr. Fluffy: As cool as that idea is (specially the eye sockets), I have a hard time sculpting something that looks like candy... Maybe if I make 'em a bit more over-sized?

the easy thing with sculpting candy is that you can do boiled sweets, the result is a small and smooth circular thing on a stick or a really small vaguely oval thing that you can paint either red and white stripes or black and really brightly highlighted orange, really dead easy to make candy, no pun intended

also those Halloween spiders look so tasty I could eat them and so sexy I could do them. Do you think I could manage to do both?

[The Dark Lord Mr Fluffy]

You'd have to get in line, we're all waiting for a slice of spider booty

[Disciple of Nagash]

I was first!!!

[Evil Clown]

Thanks folkz I'll give you all a Slice o' Spidey if you give me candy for my Zombies:

You'd better give 'em candy now...

So... whaddaya think?

[The Dark Sheep]

Those zombies look really anoying (just what a bunch of halloween-crazed kids should look like).
Really good.

[The Dark Lord Mr Fluffy]

heh, now that made me laugh a bit I tip my brains to thee, sir!

[Devo]

These are great! Are you still working on these?

[Evil Clown]

You betcha I am!

...OK, so that was a bit late, but after what felt like ages (and actually was a couple of months) I've decided to revive my Halloween army (so to speak)

So, here's the latest crazy stuff from your favourite Clown:

Ghoul Clowns

Headless Horseman

Another Ghoul Clown

Hope you lot like 'em, cuz there's plenty more coming your way Please comment anyway.

Greetz

[Evil Clown]

Here's some more, just for you:

Eating Ghouls

Boogeyman Varghulf

More Ghouls

And last, but not least, more Headless Horsemen

Comments anyone?

Greetz

[The Dark Sheep]

Great new models EC, but the Boogeyman Varghulf... ME LOVES IT!!!

[Disciple of Nagash]

Your models are great, but by far the best is the boogeyman - just seeing that model made me laugh lol...........you know what I'm going to say now don't you? I want to see them painted lol!

[Josef]

Idea for your obkective markers (if fantacy has anyy I dont know as I have not lpayed a game yet) bags of candy made from green stuff.

[Evil Clown]

Thanks peeps, and a small update

Painted Boogeyman

I feel slightly guilty for not having removed the mold lines, although it's more visible on the pic than IRL (honestly!). I do hope you still like him though

Oh, and seeing as it's Halloween next Friday, I'll make sure to have special pics of my unliving Trick 'r Treaters by then, so watch this space
