Hello fellow painters and collectors!

As i promised i would be painting some more miniatures namely the dire wolves and corpse cart.
Well This is my latest creation, the ghastly corpse cart!

Looks good, the contrast is really eye catching.
Although i would use some thinned washes to shade it.

I forgot to reply to this thread... The zombie skin is particulary good on this model (Would you mind sharing the recipe?), but those metals screams for more rust.

the zombie skin is made using (as far as I remember) a mix of elf flesh and goblin green for a nice zombie colour, then washing them with a mix of yellow and blue ink + some PVA glue (till you get a light green color). After that waterthinned bleched bone is painted over the green areas. Make many layers and try blending it through making the most layers on top of the zombie while having the fewest at the bottom. I think you'll understand, this makes the bleched bone shining the most at the top and the least at the bottom.

paint blood in blood red and then paint some red ink in it. Though I'm not that good at making blood effects.

skin was actually a result of a failed method at first making the zombies too green but the bleached bone in the end changed it all.

Well metal might have needed a few more washes.
