headache time

So I have got this serious problem. Having acquired 5K+ vampire counts, 2.5K Skaven, 1K OK, 1.5K Bretonnia, 500pnt 6th edition Chaos and about 1.6K Tomb kings which is still groing to 2K (only needing a unit of tomb guards and finishing my Bongegiant and some characters)
Then i came to think, my vampire counts is playable for up to 3 or 4K without big problems, the army isn't that great when you look at it painting wise. But hey. It was my first 'real' complete army. I'm getting headaches when thinking about repainting some of the units. so i probably will never get around to it.
Since the end of my 2 K tomb kings army is near, i am considering new options. herein lies the biggest problem. one every gamer asks himself multiple times. 'what to choose' the million dollar question.
I hate unpainted models and i hate unmoulding, however i just love modeling. this being said, i do like originality and a themed army (looking at my tomb kings im very pleased)

Statistics: (things i miss)
I have no 'bigger base' infantry army
I have no forces of 'goodness' (except bretts but they are not painted and mainly bought by my brother)
I have no lore of life at my disposal
I have no ALIVE! models
I have no elite army
I neeeeed a new table

All this is missing, it's probably impossible to fulfill these needs with 1 army. I'm going to live together with my girlfriend next month then im having a attic full of warhammer to place full with models, there is crazy stuff happening all around me but most of all, i keep thinking about warhammer and what to buy, to do, and much more. So little time and money.
I don't want to buy for 600 euro and keep it in boxes. I want to do it all... o please, if i could only have anything warhammer i would have dreamed off. It would be so nice.
How am i ever going to get there....

Sorry to keep rambling on about this. I just hope someone can encourage me to do something....

Sounds like a real pickle! Looking at what your reasons are, maybe ogres or WoC? You could probably knock together a resonable force for a smallish outlay, and they would be alive. You could pass ogres of a force of good if you wanted. And WoC give you the elite and infantry. Do you really need a force of good just because you dont have one? Personally I would just give it some thought and pick the army you most like the look of.

Apart from the new table, lizardmen have most those bases covered...

Yeah, Lizardmen would work. First thing that came to mind for me was High Elves... they fulfill most of those requirements.

hmmm,... lizards.
never thought of them. I know they are very complete with their skinks ans saurus-us... even some big nasty's.
it could work, however, im not that sold on the models

as i said, its quite difficult to find a choise. I have been looking at all armys knowing their main strenghts and weaknesses. Its just down to choosing i guess. hmmm damn me and my countious...
I will do some research on the lizzies then and see what will happen. thanks for the tip cptRD!

Having looked at the Lizardmen, the army doesnt strike me.
Currently im heavily considering WoChaos and Empire.
Woodelves is also somewhere in the mix, but the tights wearing prophets of the misty forest are loosing my attention for some reason. (really liking the gladeguard models though)...

Dear diary,
My attention seems to be drawn to chaos, be it the dark side and an army which is often presumed to be 'lame' played by 50 khorne marauders with GW's or whatever. It is the old fashioned undivided Chaos warrior that i really like. at the moment.
Empire has got awesome looking cannons which i think are pretty awesome as wel, together with well,.. just any man wielding a regular weapon in a world full of bad dangerousness which kills death in an instant. Backed up by a warrior priest with GW (i love this model as much as the latest edition chaos warriors)

LM FTW.IMHO they are one of the most powerful and versatile armies in WH.
You can choose to dominate almost any phase of the game.They are better than wood elves at Guerrilla Tactics as 3d6 for rally tests(usually with a reroll) is almost certain to succeed...they can flee at will.
They can be elite or horde.
They DEFINATELY have access to the lore of Life.
I am never more convinced that my troops are going to behave the way I want them to as when I play LM.
They debatively have the best core.
