Hello Everyone!

I'm Nerevarine, 23 years old and from the Netherlands. Although my main armies are Dark Elves and Bretonnia, I recently picked up a batch of cheap Vampire Counts and Warriors of Chaos which I hope to expand to two small armies that can hold their own. I rather like the look and feel of Vampire Counts and hopefully I'll find some inspiration and motivation here to start working on them!

Here is what I started with, freshly shipped. The units to the left are WoC, the rest is VC:

Welcome to the Vampire Counts! Nice work getting those cleaned up and ready for painting. Depending on your budget, make sure to treat yourself to the new skeletons kit we got when they released our 8th ed book. GW made them proper scale (ie small enough to fit inside a human instead of as big as a human) and they are really cool!

If you need any help with what to purchase or ideas for army builds/tactics we love to help!

Thank you! I may end up going for something like ghouls first, or perhaps I get lucky online and I'll be able to find some of those new skeletons second-hand. I must admit that I rather like how fast the old ones are with painting.

Welcome Nerevarine! Motivation is always the most difficult thing with the hobby, feel free to start up a paintlog- it really helps the motivation I have found (and taking photos gives you an enlarged image which helps you to detect mistakes you might have missed)
