Hey guys! Joined the forum a few days back to lurk around while k made decisions on what GA Death units to buy.

Some background on me. I'm in my mid 20's and only been in the hobby a couple years. Started with 40k and a have a small Space Wolves force and a grouping of Deathwatch Marines for Kill Team games. I transitioned into AoS a few months back. Right now I have the AoS starter box set (so that's SE and KB), a couple units of Blightkings and Plaguebearers, and a lot of Beastmen. But something kept bringing me back to Death, and after the release of the Grand Alliance books I decided to build a Death army.

I just ordered the General's Handbook, the Start Collecting: Skeleton Horde box, thirty more Skeleton Warriors, five more Black Knight, and both Wight Kings. I also have a Battlemage ready to become a Necromancer.

I'm super excited to build, paint, and play a new army, and very thankful to have found a cool community to ask for advice and critique.

Alrighty, that's about it.

Welcome to the Carpe Noctem, brother. Feel free to ask whatever plagues your mind :) Community here is indeed cool and warm, we are united by the common cause and service to Nagash after all. And speaking of potential recruits to convert, I'd say warpriest excelsior and mistweaver Saih from the Silver Tower could be of some use after a bit of dark magic on them. Not to mention the great knight-questor which can ever be a vampire-lord (and I have an idea how to make the Stormcast cavalry serve Nagash in form of the blood knights). Hope that helps :)

@Pigbones Welcome to the forums!

Sounds like you're off to a good start with what you've ordered. CN is a good place to get tips and ideas - a fair few of the guys here have given me some valuable tips that have helped shape my army into what it currently is now!

Looking forward to seeing you start up your undead army, catch you around the forums!
