No, that's just your warped mind seeing it that way.

There's a reason Sigvald suffers stupidity, that's because he's so vain he has to check he's perfect every so often, therefore if Konrad could keep a straight face (well look sane-ish) while telling Sigvald about whatever problem he can think of then it could work.
Easy way to convince him, Sig kills a zombie so Kon tells him he's got blood in his hair, Sig looks in the mirror and Kon gets confused about seeing double.

Also, this is VC forum therefore VC has to win (even if there's no true logic to it) so yeah Kon-man wins. (like the change of name if he does trick Sigvald the Gullible)
