Hey guys, Ive started to collect quite some VC models and I made a 2500 army list that I like to build (no I do not own all units just yet). However I would like to know what you guys think! Perhaps you have some tips and tricks. Now without further ado here is my list
2500 points VC List
Lords
Vampire Lord (LoV, Redfury, Quickblood, Beguile, Ogre Blade, Talisman of Preservation, The other trickster's shard, heavy armor and shield) ((General))
Master Necromancer (lvl 4 wizard, LoV)
Heroes
Necromancer (lvl 2 wizard, LoV, Dispel Scroll)
Wight King (Warrior Bane, Nightshroud, Enchanted Shield)
Core
40x Crypt Ghouls
5x Dire Wolf
5x Dire Wolf
7x Dire Wolf (doom wolf)
33x Zombie
Special
38x Grave Guard (Great weapons, Full command, Banner of the Barrows)
7x Hexwraith
Rare
1x Terror Gheist
Total amount of points is 2500
Perfection!
Now I have no idea if its a good list or not but it seemed a pretty cool one ^^. I like the brutal killing power of the VL so I would like to keep that at least. Now the reason I took a Master necro instead of just giving the VL lvl 4 is that its a melee beast and if its my only +4 lvl wizard Im slightly hesitant to rush it into combat. So ofc I would shelter the Master necro and the wight king in the GG unit. The normal necro goes into the skelly unit and tries to pump it up with MotD. Direwolfs are there to disrupt and distract enemies. The Crypt Ghouls is the bigass hammer ... the idea here is that I keep them at full strength with IoN. Hexwraiths are there for bring the rapetrain to anything nonmagical or then siegeweapons (still not sure to run it 1x 10 or 2x 5). Finally the terrorgheist is there to fly around either distracting the enemy's heavy fire or flanking/ screaming the enemy to smithereens.
Anyway there you have it. Dont be gentle with me! I like good criticism!
