Ok so...After calling Customer Service at GW (1-800-394-4263 US) I have found out that the wizard does NOT keep special rules that he/she had previous to the transformation. There for my idea is a mute point and sadly, we shall never see a ghost dragon. At least from this spell. Unless of course you and some buddies want to make it a house rule then that's your perogative.

Erm, pardon? The General has to be destroyed for the army to crumble. It doesn't matter about him being Undead, that's not relevant.
