Ok, so I am going to do a basic walk through of the steps I took to get some metal Blood Knights for $60 USD. The thing is, I'm pretty sure if I did it again, I could get them for around $40.

Disclaimer: Everything worked for me, I can not guarantee the same results for you. Also I can not help you find what you are looking for, I do not speak Chinese.

So the site I am talking about is www.taobao.com. It is the Chinese equivalent of Ebay. There are a couple problems for us though. One is it's in Chinese. Another is they do not ship outside China. Fear not, there are ways around this.

So whats the big deal about this site you ask? Pretty much almost anything you may want, they will sell it on this site for a lot less. The starting price of the Blood Knights for example was $40. I found some finecast ones for about $25 later. They also have Forge World models for both WHFB and 40k, including titans for half off!

First off, Google Translate is of limited help as it will not translate everything. After some playing around I learned to navigate the site in it's native Chinese format just fine. What I learned to do was type in the search engine what I was looking for in English then use Google Translate on the title to get the Chinese words and search again for that. I then had to check the currency exchange to find out how much the items were.

So now I found what I wanted, some cheap Blood Knights, except I had no idea how to order them. In comes something called a "Tao Bao agent". These guys are located in China and their job is to buy things from Tao Bao and ship it across the world. Maybe they have a flat fee or maybe it's a percentage, it depends on the company. So pretty much you tell these guys what you want, they buy it and it's shipped to them. They then inspect it and send you pictures to make sure it's what you want. If it isn't, they are supposed to send it back and get it right or get a refund. Once your happy with it you pay for shipping then they send it to you. So pretty much first you pay for the item, then later you pay for international shipping.

I know this sounds risky, and no I am not saying you should buy everything from this site. It worked for me and I'm just letting you guys know. Also I can help you guys out some on things I learned.

Chinese: ?? ??? <--- Means "Warhammer Vampire"
I learned that titles that have English in them are normally more expensive than those that do not, so try to search for Chinese words only.

A link to $15 USD Black Knights/Hexwraiths
Also note that the above link is someones store, look around.

The Agent I used is TaoBaoEnglish.com They charged $8 for my single order and did a decent job.

Another one I will use next time is: http://www.taobaotrading.com/ They seem to have better deals.

Ok..... $25 Blood Knights which means about £15.....
Looks like I am going to have to lean to read Mandarin. :innocent:

Does make me worry about knock offs though as they are famous for it to the point they offer GW staff in GW stores to make their stuff for them cheaper.

Luckily however we have google Translator.
This did make me worry though on seller reviews of those Supposed GW Gear:

"Dynamic score with their peers

Description consistent with higher than 18.38% : 4.8
Service attitude: 4.8 higher than 26.27%
Delivery speed: 4.8 less than 0.54%"

Omg that I never thought of this... My girlfriend is Chinese... No problems reading this... Next time I need something will check here too.
