Hi, Carpe Noctem.

I´ve been checking this interesting forum from time to time for a while and now that I´ve recently painted my Vampire Counts (or Undead, in more general terms) army´s 1.000th miniature (and some more yet to be painted, by the way) then decided to register.

Playing from time to time (Fantasy, 40K, Warmachine, Infinity, Warzone, etc...) but painting as often as possible since the middle eighties (I found it relaxing) with acceptable results but no award to be won.

In my early forties, from Spain but living in South America since 2009 and willing to put my little grain of sand.

Hello,

Tobias the Mad here. I'm just getting into Vampire counts now after having played Warriors of Chaos for about four years. I was lucky enough to pick up 40 skeletons, 2 black coaches, 7 heroes (necromancers and vampires), some zombies and ghouls, and an old metal zombie dragon for 100$! I will soon be picking up some more stuff to flesh out (see what I did there?) my army! I look forward to meeting you all!

Hello Tobias and welcome to the forum!

Around here i belive everyone have the same fancy title as you, So you've come to the right place!

Cheers!

Hi guys,

Im Rok Ape, been collecting VCs since 4th ed, I've painted and sold off more armies than I can remember.

Getting back into VC's again going to do 3 themed armies and actually keep them this time haha.

I will post up a topic on one of the armies soon.

Have a great blood filled night!

Hi!

I've never played Warhammer Fantasy, and barely any 40k. But I loved painting my Undead warband for Mordheim so much that I decided to keep painting the undead. Eventually I'll be a VC player, once I get around to finishing all these dead things.. not playing with unpainted models is a lot easier in skirmish games..

Mellow greetings creatures of the night!

Originally started buying VC models with the intention of building a small force to use alongside my Stirland army in Storm of Magic games and eventually building them into a full army. Lately though WFB has been experiencing a bit of a resurgence at the FLGS and with several new players starting armies, it seemed like a good time to start raising an army of Night's Dark Masters. So, I'll be digging :grave: around here for ideas & advice and will probably post a list or 2 for c&c.

Thanks

Hi everyone my names Greg, long time lurker first time poster. I play Vampire Counts, Bretonnia, Dark Elves and Dwarves though all with more enthusiasm than ability.

Hello,
40/30k player (Deldar and Admech mostly) and in doing conversions, I've found myself with a bunch of square fantasy bases. And really, what better to do with them than use them to start up an army of the true masters of the medieval world?
Yes, you may say that Dark Elves are the Dark Eldar of the setting, but really, when it comes to dealing an elegant death and truly savoring the slaughter, I think it's the Vampires who really 'get' the art.

This said, I'm as much tempted by the idea of a Wight-Host type army as anything else, sort of like Tolkein's Barrow-Wights on the march. *Shrugs*
Just means experimentation.

Welcome to the forum! Good luck with the conversions. Maybe we could see some?

Of course Vampires are good at elegant death...what else do they do all night?

Enjoy your gaming.
