So, I thought that 'spamming' IoN was dead with this edition but people still talk of it... Can a single wizard cast IoN multiple times in the same magic phase?

Hey dude,

You cant cast it more than once with the same wizard...

But it is our signature spell - so all our wizards can have it - and therefore they can all cast it once per magic phase.

So thats pretty much spamming

(has worked well for me too!)

Aha, ok cheers.

No worries.

Cheap hero level necromancers are handy for it... as they are only a few points (I believe it is against forum rules to say specifically how many). Though they have difficulty casting it on low numbers of dice (as they only add 1 casting level to the roll).

Apparently the Mortis Engine helps - but I havent got one of those yet so havent tried it.

It's probably me you've heard talking about spamming IoN. As Tom says you just grab a lot of level 1 Necros and give them all IoN... then you put a ME with BT besides them and watch your opponent weep tears of blood as you raise your undead troops with only 1 die per casting :devil2:

Remember Vampires are Wizards too. Lots of IoN goin' 'round.

Yeah that's true Adam, but if you have enough cheap necros the Vamps should be on the frontline using Death or Shadow.
