Kastelai soulblight list

Hey everyone,

I present you a kastelai list. It's one of m first list in soulblight.
I want play powerfull close with a decent support on backlane objective with zombies.

I hésitate to remove Radukar and add an other vlodz but that seems overkill. Or maybe vengorian was Bad Idea and vlodz was better in place of it?

I love Radukar for jus stats, summon and buff. I dont knlow if it's good in kastelai but I have not a lot of unit to tale objective so thé summon will be nice i think

Hi Seyrinian! Interesting list! A couple of ideas and corrections:

• Belladamma and Vhordrai both knows a spell from Lore of Vampires in addition to Invigorating Aura.
• Your list is fast so your big blob of Zombies will not be able to move with the rest of the army and they will die extremely fast left unsupported. Therefore I suggest that you cut them and the Chronomantic Cogs and instead bring two units of 10 Dire Wolves. That gives you more flexibility in where to be on the battlefield and an extra unit to grab objectives with while the rest of the army fights. Another good thing about bringing more wolves is that they can bodyguard Belladamma.
• Another idea for the list could be to go with Vyrkos and then cut Cogs and the fell bats and then take 3 units of 20 Zombies to fill out your battleline.

I made changement WIih your comments.
Adding spell ans wolves in place of zombie

But for tour comment about Switch to vyrkos... I am not sûre. Isn't a Big loose of synergy withtout kastelai abity for vhordrai ans blood knight?

And three unit of 20 zombi withtout necromancer is it good ? I a am afraid that useless in pack of 20 but it's maybe not a problem ?

You’re welcome. Regarding running Vyrkos and three 20 man units of zombies:

- yes you lose the Kastelai ability but you get rerolls to cast on the Vengorian Lord and Belladamma, which is quite strong as well.

- the three small units of zombies dont do anything in combat, that is correct, but that is also the point: you need cheap chaff to hold objectives while the rest of your army fights. You dont want a list where you have to use expensive pieces like Blood Knights or Vhordrai to hold objectives.

But stick with the list as you have it now, it was just an alternative to get you thinking about synergies

Alright I will test the actual liste bbut keep on mind the zombies it Can be effective !

And what about vengorian? Isn't better to remove him and Radukar and put an other vlodz? I préfère the first way to have more unit but maybe better to have more dragon lord in kastelai ?

No, I think the damage output and utility of having Radukar + Vengorian outweighs having a VLoZD. The issue with Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon (and to a degree Vhordrai) is that their damage output is very high variance. One game they might spike and obliterate everything they touch while in the next they can be stuck in a pillow fight for a whole match.
