This is the place where you can find the different comps for Age of Sigmar. If you know of a system not in the list, please post the link in this thread and I will include it in this post.

Point Comps:
Stat-Damage-Keyword
This system is really original and works well if you're used to using points costs for army building. It is based on a mathematical formula and is thus 'objective'. The site also includes an easy-to-use armybuilder.

Age of Sigmar Points
Another mathbased points system that also has rules for victory conditions and summoning. In my subjective opinion the points values are less fitting than SDK.

Pool Comps:
Azyr Comp
A widely used pool comp system.

Urza Planewalkers System
A pool comp system that includes many errata-like rules changes. Definitely worth a look if for nothing else then the errata part of the comp.

South Coast GT
A very comprehensive system with a well thought out summoning restriction.

Clash Comp
Very streamlined and short comp system that fits in with the ease and flow of Age of Sigmar.

Wounds and Keyword Comps:
Canhammer Comp
A well written army selection system that has a cap of 125 wounds per army. It also includes limitations on mixing armies.

HAGG
A neat little comp pack that includes tips on how to run a fun game in Age of Sigmar. If for nothing else spend 5 minutes reading his suggestions on how to improve your gaming experience.

Cheers,
Sunny

I have a question about SDK, if you may answer it!

What is the difference between using (inside the SDK homepage) the "Pool" version of SDK and the "Points" version of it?

Do you know?

Because last sunday I played with the Empire against High Elves in a 20 pt battle and it was pretty ok, quite even and it all came down to strategy, more than game balance itself

Thanks! :D

Ah! I see

Well, it has a nice balance, specially concerning the Units. Individual models and such seem to be ok, but, contrary to SDK, models with "options" cost the same anyways.

It's quite fun anyways, give it a try!

Age of Balance (AoB) developed by a dedicated club at the GW/Complet Strategist in Manhattan.

It is a scroll based balance system calculating the number of models you can take per scroll, balancing every scroll to be reasonably equal from skaven slaves to dragons, truly allowing you to take anything you want and still play out a balanced game.

The simple theory is, the more complicated you try to make things the more error you get. After many trials of all the systems, this simple formula just seems to work. There are more advanced rules, and summoning restrictions - but if you just use scroll count based on their table you will have games which feel balanced and not bogged down by any complicated rule changes or point systems.
