I'm risking getting stuck, if I don't order plenty of bases soon. I bought a bunch of sprues without bases, so I need to find them to continue, but the problem is, I can't. :(

The bases I'm looking for are:
40x60mm, 3x
cav-bases 10x
chariot base 1x
closed 20mm bases, a bunch

The problem is, I can't find the 40mm x 60mm anywhere, looked at a couple of bitzsites, and even the GW webshop doesn't have them right now. I'm slightly desperate, since again, I risk getting stuck on my project just for 3 silly bases, and that would be pretty annoying. If anyone knows where I could find some, preferably in Europe (I could spend 20 bucks and fly them in from the US, but that's somewhat crazy), it would be very much appreciated.

I found them on the GW website for you, albeit they are quite expensive ($7 each here in Australia)

Thanks, I live in Europe, and if I change it to "deliver to the netherlands" it says it's out of stock.

However, it's still comforting to know they're in australia, so they'll probably be back here in europe at some point as well.

It's not 7$ each btw, it says "This pack contains three 40mm x 60mm bases.", but yes, at bitzstores they're a lot cheaper (but out of stock where I looked so far).

What I do for unusual sized bases, is use the base of the GW movement trays. There's usually some offcuts that're too small for units I'd run, but can be made into some 40x40 bases etc.

Actually, I already fixed this problem. I was going to use 2 60x40 bases for every infantry unit, but instead I opted for 1 60x40 for the skeletons and gg (which I already have) 2 40x40's for my ghouls, and 1 60x100 for zombies. A big filler for a zombieunit is probably better anyway.

I wouldn't use the movement trays myself btw, I like the neat look of the black side of the base, I don't even spraycoat them, I just put some pygmented gunk on top.

Ah fair enough :) Yeah I can imagine that the look isn't for everyone. It just works out well for me since I'm sculpting on top anyway, so I can change how the sides look. If you look in my WIP log, the Hanging Zombie filler is one a movement tray base :) Also I really didn't realise that this was your thread, I'm not stalking you I swear, haha :P
