Im reconsidering, my currently 4 painted skeletons, and stop my wintertheme, and go for a Lustria theme army?
I haven't rly been thinking all through, but I love the idea of an army raised of warriors who died deep in the jungles.. I saw a tread on Da-warpath about a goblin Lustria army, which rly inspired me, I think it could be a nice diferent kind of army, and I think I need a theme to stick to, to build my army, or else I prob. fail to build it..

so what do you think? any ideas?

That is a very tempting idea. I actually feel like doing it myself (but I already have two projects running). It could be a nice way of adding colour and variation without having to paint the clothes too bright.

So over to the ideas...
- What about giving them a swampy theme for the bases?
- And the armour should be very rusty (Due to the damp air).

thx for the reply ;o
swampy sounds good, put I want a lot of jungle too, jungle trees and so on.. Im not sure how I should build my skelies.. perhaps use empire sprues?, so it would give a feeling that, the skelies dead treasurehunters, or something, or just empire who tryed to enter Lustria but failed.. And im thinking of making some sort of tribal skellies, with light blue tattoes on their skulls, to give a woodoo feeling, to some of them.. and for the zombies, it should look like people coming up from the swamp... hmm.. so many thoughts.. better write it down, for inspiration..

I think that this is a very good idea. We do see a lot of winter-themed armies around and I think a Lustiean one would be a nice diversion from the norm. Perhaps a Vampire Coast themed army?

so...
I've found a great model to use as my necromancer.. well actually 2 from gamezone miniatures, but since I've never order anything from them, and their website is in Spainish, Im not sure what to do ;p anyways.. kinda stupid!
well here are some pics
Necro on foot
Im thinking of painting tribals on such on him..
and here is the necro on mount

Edit..
This should be the skulls of the skellies..
Skeleton

ty very much Mr. Sheep :)
I'm hoping to start a painting log next month, if everything goes as planned.. :) Life gets in the way some time

What about some human tribesmen? Maybe some Lizzie shields and feathers for a bit of difference from your classic "Empire Dead"?

Well, human tribesman zombies sound like a great idea. As well as converting some lizzies if your good with the ole' GS. Actually its pretty easy to get hold of dinosaur skeleton models, you could get one for a Stegadon, and use the rules for the Black Coach for it.

If you can get hold of them, the old Grenafier minis are nice (they did a couple of skeletal mammoths & a skeletak giant rhino.

You could also tuck the coffin inside the rib-cage (I always thought that skeletal steeds were a great idea due to the additional storage capacity )

Some of the Mordheim amazon models would work well as vamps or necros.

... and to use the new Cold One Knights... ;)

It could be great. I did consider it, it is quite tempting indeed, but I finally chose a Ostenmark-themed army.
