Thought this would be fun. Wanted to take full advantage of SCOTN. Do you think I need another caster? Is the black knight bus the wrong way to deliver the Count? I figured it would be fun having all these fast units running along side the bus getting bigger. They could also screen it from shooting. Should I keep the barrows banner on the bus or swap it for banner of swiftness? Any comments would be helpful.

The list seems very solid, manny goes in the second rank of bk and he casts spell like there's no tomorrow!
So... Imo you have too many chaff! 3 unit of wolfs, 3 of fellbats and 2 spirit hosts (without count the rest of your core is pretty defensive). Maybe you can reduce special chaff to make place for utility stuff (like a necromancer with dispel Scroll) or improve your combat units
In any case you enspired me!! Bk bus with 2 WK on front is a really good idea to play manny. I usually see him with 2 ME for regen...but this is better!

Yeah I def need a scroll caddy. Maybe I'll drop the spirit hosts. I have the wraiths to tie up a steam tank or somthing like that.

Actually the character must be in the front rank. However if you decline a challenge you can send your caster to the back which can keep him alive a lot longer in some cases. We are one of the few armies who can benefit from letting a caster sulk to the back.

Yeah ok I see what ya mean. Good call. Still you can use those Wight Points on a Vampire Scroll caddy and a special or rare choice and let your single Manfred character be the only choice to go to the back after the challenge.

A corpse cart could be good. Nothing like massive hordes of zombie suddenly Striking First!

He needs at least 2 character on the front.. manny is very fragile even on the barded nightmare. The problem is not the challenge, actually he dies vs almost everythings.. and a smart opponent can direct too many attacks against him without challenge anything. Wights are very defensive, with their t5, 3 wounds and with some magical stuffs they can survive easy.

One of your wight kings is wearing both the dragon helm and night shroud. These are both magic armour so sadly your not allowed both. Id say swap the dragin helm for pendant of regrowth for a 6+ regen or just save the 10 points for elsewhere

Changed this up a bit. Basically the idea is to sit back and grow for a couple of turns. When the enemy gets close just start throwing chaff their way. There is enough in this army that you can easily send two units if you have to (one to charge, another to take the overrun/block). When units get within a 24 inch rage I've had lots of success with the death magic. Unsuspecting opponents all but forget that the count has death magic since all you've been doing most of the game so far is spamming invocation or a raise dead or gaze here or there. Setting up the knight bus for that one perfect charge hasn't been much of a problem. War machines haven't been able to knock it out of the game. Really forces everything to come to you. Have thought about how I can get off purple sun, I'm just scared to pop him out of the unit.

Aren't zombies ASL already? Doesn't the CC just make them strike at initiative order instead if a spell is cast successfully on the CC and they are within 6"?

Nope, the rule in book is the Zombies lose ASL and it gains ASF, so they do indeed strike first!!
