Okay, I am sorry for the long time no post. I have been incredibly busy and working on building my pottery workshop and playing lots and lots of Magic the Gathering, so I have not had much time to paint new models But I am back! And I would like to post what I have been working on for the Golden Bat comp. It is a Wightking BSB on cliff. I can't take credit for the base making. Jake kindly made and shipped to me the base, which I painted. Enjoy!

The terrorgheist and vargheists are awesome! I kind of wanted to go darker with mine also. People seem to make the TG so fleshy, and I don't envision him that way. Could I ask how you did the TG flesh and the Varg's wing membranes?

BloodbathMcGrath: Yea sure the vargheists body was Khemri brown base, with Kommando Khaki, then pharexeti white on the highlights. I then added lots of layers of devlum mud wash (forgot how to spell it, sorry) and top with another layer of white on the highlights. I coat practically everything in the mud wash, it gives it a nice dirty dead look.
The wings was base of charadn granite, then khemri brown, then highlight with kommando Khaki. watered down blood red at the tops so it seeps down and blends in, then I washed with leviathan purple and highlighted again.

The Terrorgheist skin bits (wings and flesh) was based with Charadon Granite, then layered with adaptus grey, codex grey and highlighted withfortress grey. I also washed with both badab black and Devlum mud and highlited with the white.

Kassill: I do need to take a group shot of my pieces one day, just need to find the time! lol
