Hey guys!

My question isn't exactly warhammer related, but it is about (medieval) miniatures so I'm taking my chances with this one.
Recently I've been playing the Game of Thrones boardgame and while the supplied miniatures (footmen, knights, siege towers & ships) are decent, I think I can do better. ;) So I'm looking for substitutes and I've wondered if any of you might have stumbled upon such items in the past. I'm looking for miniatures that aren't too big (I think GW size would be a bit too much) and medieval looking. Valdemar miniatures are good (nice details, scale 1:72), but I wouldn't mind paying less for more abstract (i.e. less details) looking miniatures.
I would be much obliged for your help.

Have you taken a look at the Perry Twins stuff?
They're a little smaller than GW, but may still be too big.

They do some of the nicest historics I've ever seen.

Apart from that I can't help I'm afraid...

P.S. Your link appears to be dead.

Thanks! Impressive quality by the looks of it, I'm going to look into it.
I've also found a website that reviews plastic soldiers (http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com) which has been very helpful for finding inexpensive soldiers, knights as well as artillery.

Oh and the link I supplied should be this one:
