I'd take these guys to run with a cav / zombie dragon / flyer list. They're not frenzied (and granted have hover instead of fly) but there's 180 points of fun to run with the pack and they have a huge charge threat-range.

Plus you can get them FOR FREE with one cast + a token or two. Frankly, it's insane that we can get these guys for free. And with Manfred's 2x summoning RANGE (not value), drop them right where you want them - super powerful! Hello flank and rear!

Kinda feels like these guys are getting the standard 'initial reaction' treatment: if they're not AMAZING, they don't immediately bump anyone's favored choices or stand out on their own. Not trying to belittle anyone's opinion here, but this is a good unit IMO. Not filth on their own, but with summons - are really going to be an asset. Give them time, play with them and i think we'll see a nice spot for them.

I meant on this forum people are saying they are over costed so not very good, in the big wide world no one has moaned they are broken

ah well, truth be told, they are on the expensive side. Theyre definately not cheap or average-priced.

In terms of points of cash? As Akiro said =, with summoning you can get them for "free". Take Arkhan and you can summon FOUR Harbingers onto the board in one fell swoop. FOUR. Popping up behind your enemies central horde unit (which everybody seems to have at least one of these days...).

They are games workshop models and as such will always be expensive cash wise. Points wise, two of them come in at the same points as a unit if five Hexwraiths with the Hellwraith upgrade... Not too bad in larger point games but in smaller points I think there are better ways to spend them.
