If you had 2 Mortis Engines, does the Regen stack from each?

i.e. Would units without Regen, effictivly have a 5+?

Yes as it is a +1 improvement to a maximum of 4+. Im currently considering this build.
 
So that being said we could have a 5+ regen on a hoarde of zombies? That sounds awesome. Mantic may be my best friend soon..
