5 weeks, it could be worse. I would think it would be BAD if it was 1-3 days till the GT.

Hmm... I get that feeling too, but I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it's the lack of yellow? Or maybe it's the lack of barding in the front? Some leather straps and tiny bret shields like on the peg knights could be the thing...

Terrible! You should just give up and and send your minis to me:D...... Seriously though I agree with dark sheep barding at the front would look good^^

I think the thing that strikes me with the mounted model, is that the black on the mount and on the rider are the same shade of black, if you get my drift. So they seem to merge into one another. I would try and make one different than the other, after all you want your rider to stand out.

RE: Mousillon army blog - updated 05 Oct 08

I would suggest: a quick fix to the blacks being the same. Just add another highlight to the general. I'll add in here too that I really don't see mucht that is wrong with your model.

I just thought of something. To add just that little touch. What about putting a hand pulling its way out from under the rock?

Love the winged steed man, I think you're just being overly critical. I'd love to do something similar, but that would actually rank up with a black knight unit (so I could fly him out if any opportunities arose).

The only thing I can think that could be making you think its "wrong" is the positioning of the wings?? Since there's no winged horses in nature, its hard to say, but perhaps that's it. Don't other flying horses from mythology have the wings further to the front of the steed?

GW's peg knights wings attach from the front pair of legs, for example.

Can I ask what model's wings you're using?

Again, amazing work!

Cool army! Really like the bretonnian them and the colour scheme stands out from the usual black/red, red/black combo I see on lots of VC armies.

I agree with disciple. It looks awesome just the rider and mount are too similar.

Great Hellsteed, it turned out far greater than I could imagine! :D

If you really have a complete 2000 k army, please take a group pic of them!

I'm very curios on how they look together!. ;)

Your painting skills blessed with a touch of conversion work do well to make these another great addition to your force. I'm once again impressed. Great job and good to see you getting a few more models done.

What did you use for your snow effect?
If its that white flock I recommend using something else.
