Hmmm,

I just made my presentation, but I think it's also hepful to know who is the player, to see his army (to get ideas of conversions, of painting etc ...).

Excuse me, i put a lot of heavy pictures, but I always like to find screens on Vampire counts army, so if somebody here is like me ...

So ... Let's begin with it :

The Corpse Cart (Just beginning to paint it, not finished).

Oops !

I think it put this log in the bad section ...

Excuse me for that, if someone could move my message to the good place, it could be very nice.

THank you incognito,

The problem for me is to explain my painting methods in english ... But I try ..

The Dire wolfs :
First colour everywhere : Black
After, I make a brush (? Small quantity of paint and I pass very fast on the top of the details).
I first use a dark Grey, and after a Shadow Grey.
And it's finished, very fast ;)

The second, the ethereals ...
Then it'll be more complicated to explain !

First colour under everything : White
After I use a dark green, with a lot of water, I also have to pass 2 or 3 times.
After the same green + White
After, I make the same : A lot of water (dillution), with a grey + White where I wanna make the lightings (generally, on the top of the details).
And I could use to finish more white, but I was scared that the result was bad.

I'm really sorry for those very poor explenations, I wish you understood everything ! ;)

You explanations are very clear. And things should be OK as long as you stay away from evil online translation programs.
While you are at it, could you also explain how you did the ghouls? The skin looks great.
I would also like to see more pictures! For example of your zombies, black knights, and those blood knights(?)

Since you are using the "old" ghouls, could you tell me if there is size difference? I actually prefer the old ones over the new models but it looks like the new models are a lot larger.

The overall army looks stunning, great job!

Oh, the Ghouls are really simple,

You make your first painting job in Black, and after you take some Dark Angels Green with water (not so much, perhaps 1/3), and you pass on the black first painting step.
You pass maybe 3 or 4 times, and if it's already too dark you could add to your paint some white colour.

I'll try to take some pictures of the new ghouls next to the new ones.
I prefer the new one, but I think I'll add both of those ghouls in my units.
The problem for me with the new Ghouls, is that they all looks like each other ... All the same position (like old mens who want to get off the toilets).

The newest are larger yes, but not so high. So ... Have to see with the pictures ;)

how did u paint the zombies inside the corpse cart?????

Thank you all for the greetings !

Concerning the zombies inside the corpse cart, they are un-assembled (When you receive your corpse cart box, you have to put some build it, so I painted before, and after I build the global mini).

Now the Warghulf ...

You are very talented, keep it up it all looks awesome!

Now about that corpse cart, how the hell did you paint that wood? It looks awesome and very realistic. Tell us your secret!

Hello again ;)

For the corpse cart it's really simple. You begin with a black first colour everywhere. After, scroched brown, everywhere, but with water (1Colour, 2 water), after i used bestial brown without water, and with a low quantity of painting (brush ?) i only pass on the top of the details to give the final brown colour, not too dark as the scroched brown).

To finish, the top of the bones, is made with dilluated bleached bone, 1 Per 3 water, and after the second on the top with 1/2 bleached bone pure, and to finish, to top with white with 1/2 water. Excuse me for that bad explenation ^^

Concerning the points of my army, really I don't no how tu calculate it ...

With the special characters or without, it makes a big difference, for curiousity I'll make it but in truth, it's not the way to play with it. ;)

Really nice work you've done there zac. The technique you're describing is known as 'dry-brushing' ie dragging brush with a little paint to achieve a highlight. Why does your banshee have a pink chin?

Thank you for the english translation, I'll now know how to describe that painting technik !
Concerning the Banshee pink chin, it wasn't my volountee ... The fig was next to my painting pot, when I was painting some of my ghouls ... And it falls on the banshee. I never change it, because i'm not professionnal enough to modify it ;)
