My Cairn Wraiths

Ok, so I have been a bit of a ghost on these boards, just reading and not participating, so I figured I will show some of my currecnt project. First off, I just want to say, I dont play Warhammer, I am a model-builder and purely paint and build the figures. So please take a gander at my kitbashed wraiths and now they will never be used in a game. Its actually kinda sad............ Any constructive criticism is appreciated!!!!

They look fantastic, really nice finished models. You've got the spirit-look just right, too.

How did you paint those? If you don't mind...

-white primer basecoat
-coating of Dark Angels Green, Goblin Green, Enchanted Blue, Sunburst Yellow and Water (ratio of 3:3:1:1:3, roughly!)
-Codex Grey drybrush (very heavily)
-repeat of mixed green wash
-drybrush Space Wolf Gray
-blend Space Wolf Gray on highpoints
-highlight with 50/50 Space Wolf gray and Skull White
-Skull White hightlight
-another Skull White highlight on very highest points

*Just make sure you paint the last 4 steps flowing with the clothing!*

BTW, I still have two more that I need to do the last 4 steps on! I have a unit of 5, and no, there is no banshee!

:| now thats a way to paint! The one thing I'd have to say it: They have no sythes

And they might have human feet at the back of their flaggilent legs too, but we can't see

No feet! All chopped off! As for the scythes, I really didnt have any I liked, and the grave guard great weapons are sweet looking. Put the two together and voila! By biggest problem was figuring out a way to cover up the abs on the flagelants, those guys are ripped!!!!!

Those are so ace that I'd like to borrow your idea for my own Wraiths. I'd been looking for a way to make them stand out from my Spirit Host. Do you mind?
