Well not the first, but my first true revision since the new book after trying a few games with it.

Black Axe of Krell
---Core--
20 Zombies
20 Zombies
25 Ghouls
5 Wolves
5 Wolves
5 Wolves
Corpse Cart w/ Balefire
---Special---
23 Grave Guard
Hw/Sh. Full Command.
23 Grave Guard
GW. Full Command
Banner of Strigos.
I'll put General and BSB in HW/Sh Grave Guard, and the other two in the other grave guard.
I'm really liking the idea of taking Grave Guard, two units if possible, as my primary infantry. Far more durable then either skeletons or ghouls, and quite deadlier as well.
I wish I could fit Varghulf in there, but I feel the need to give my general (and his unit) regeneration so they can be even more durable, particularly if they crumble.
---Edit---
Some added thoughts.
The Blood-drinker... combined with Infinite Hatred and Red Fury could keep the things at full strength. Combined with better armor and a regeneration banner... this unit and general will be hard to kill.
The other unit will probably get the bulk of my healing spells.
Ghouls, on their own, seem to die easily if 20 strong. With 25, they can take a charge and hold out, allowing me to heal them.
The zombies, I'm embarrassed to admit are for core slots. They could become tarpits, depending on the army I'm facing.
